Different driving habits, acceleration modes, and power consumption all affect the distance traveled. With over 250 million kilometers of usable data, we have successfully mapped real city parameters in the light of everyday driving habits. Using 150,000 users in our study sample, we created an intelligent scooter designed specifically for urban commuters.

Each element of the U-Series electric drive is precisely designed to achieve the perfect balance between energy and energy efficiency, ensuring that the engine delivers enough power to reduce power loss.
Field Oriented Control (FOC)
NIU has developed a FOC vector controller to communicate with the U-Series engine. After a sophisticated algorithm, rigorous engine testing, and power setting, we achieved a 10% input% 10% acceleration rate. FOC is the latest, state-of-the-art technology.
Electronic braking system (EBS) and regenerative braking system
Every time the braking system is engaged, the kinetic energy normally produced is wasted. Through EBS, kinetic energy generated during the braking period is captured and recycled to the battery. This ultimately increases overall mileage by 6%.
As the intelligent core of the U-Series, the Cloud ECU acts as a personal scooter analyzer to help collect, diagnose and process driving data. In the cloud connection, after each trip, data analysis optimizes the intelligent driving experience by mapping driving habits.
New six-axis motion sensor
The U-Series Anti-Theft Alert Accuracy Range has been reduced to just 3 meters thanks to the new MEMS six-cell motion detector. With the help of the on-board gyroscope, we can more accurately identify unauthorized movement of the scooter to measure vehicle acceleration and GPS positioning.
Six-member MEMS is not only an anti-theft device. You notice all kinds of movement on your scooter. Even if your scooter overturns, you can still be notified about your phone.
Battery Management System (BMS)
We designed and developed the next generation BMS. BMS does more than accurately calculate charge and discharge. Analyzes power, voltage, temperature, communication, and 10 other electrical protection mechanisms to ensure that all parts of the battery are protected and function effectively.
Ignition without keys
The U-Series is the first scooter to use keyless start. The U-Series remote control key allows the scooter to be unlocked remotely up to 50 meters away. To get started, just press the "Niu logo" button on the key to set up your scooter.

Daytime running lights
At NIU, security is paramount. The U-Series has daytime running lights and 360-degree LED lighting. Pedestrians and drivers do not have a problem when we notice the road, reducing the likelihood of accidents. The U-Series features a brand new "Halo" headlamp, designed primarily for safety while being a bit strange; that the U scooter excels in both form and function.
NIU engine lock
We added a new layer of protection, the Niu Motor Lock. The engine lock can be activated if the scooter detects unauthorized movement. Make sure that the lock can only be activated when the scooter is in "park" mode.
